(1) By entering the contest entrants agree to abide by these rules and have fun. The contest is sponsored by the partner credit unions participating in the Exploring Strength and Unity initiative. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook.

(2) Contest period: Thursday September 19, 2019 - to Friday October 18, 2019 at 5:00 pm PST.

(3) Everyone is eligible to participate in the contest. No purchase necessary.

>>Click here to participate without using social media.

(4) All entries will be tracked through the Strength and Unity Facebook and Instagram pages.

(5) Credit union staff and their families are welcome to participate in the #awesometogether contest.

(6) The prize is one of five $200 pre-paid credit cards. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries.

(7) Every post a contest participant makes is considered an entry. The more you enter, the better your odds of winning.

(8) The winners will be contacted via facebook and announced on the Exploring Strength and Unity website starting on October 23, 2019. All five winners will be notified personally. Only one prize per winner. If a winner does not respond to the notification within five business days, a new winner will be selected.

(9) Participants must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question before being declared the winner.

(10) Winner must sign a declaration and release confirming compliance with the rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded, consenting to the use of his/her name, address and/or photograph without compensation, in any publicity carried out by the partner credit unions.

(11) The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.

(12) If for any reason the partner credit unions cannot run the contest as planned, we reserve the right to cancel, modify, extend or suspend the contest.

As member-owned credit unions, the proposed merger is dependent on favourable member votes. The merger is also dependent on regulatory consent. One of the requirements of our application for consent is providing the name of the proposed new credit union. We are pleased to be able to share that name with you in October of 2019.
